This past weekend we had friends visit from both Denver and Colorado. The weekend was also really big for motorcycle events in Austin. Both the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show (a showcase for custom built bikes) and Moto GP (a race for the biggest and best motorcycle racers and manufacturers) were happening. Two of our friends recently eloped in Chicago and came to Austin for a honeymoon and to see these two shows. Our other friend was coincidentally in town from Denver--we couldn't have asked for a better weekend.
This was our second year at Handbuilt. The show is put on by Revival, Austin's most well known custom motorcycle shop. We enjoyed seeing all of the motorcycles but most of all loved watching the Wall of Death again.
It was so great to see familiar faces and celebrate our friends' elopment and our engagement. I wish all weekends were this fun.
